1. What are the Qualifications of an MM candidate?
An MM candidate must have at least a bachelor’s degree (in any field). The minimum of 1 year working experience in any field is applicable. All applicants must submit the English proficiency score of either CU-TEP 75 or TOEFL iBT 79, or IELTS 6.5.
2. How to apply MM?
An individual applicant must complete an MM application form with all required documents, and submit in person with non-refundable application fee 1,000 Baht at MM office: 4th floor, 50th Anniversary Memorial Building, Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn University.
3. When is the period of Application submission?
We recruit new students only once a year. The period of application submission* is during the first week of October to the end of January. The interview examination period* intake will be held during the middle of February to the first week of March. (*subject to change)
4. How to prepare or get ready for the Interview examination?
Normally, the MM applicants will be suggested to follow up with the news of global/business from newspaper, journals, magazines, or other reliable sources.
5. What is the structure of MM curriculum?
The MM curriculum comprises 36 credits which take approximately 2 years, including the summer semester, in order to complete the study program.
6. What is the class time?
All MM classes are conducted entirely in English, at the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn University. Classes are scheduled in the evening on every Thursdays and Fridays from 6.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m., on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) from 9.00 a.m. to 4 p.m. Some certain classes may be conducted over the weekdays but the class-schedule will be announced well in advanced.
7. What is the tuition and fees for MM program?
Total expenses for the entire 2 year MM program are approximate 380,000 Baht for Thai students, and 590,000 Baht for non-Thai students. The tuition and fees are included of textbooks, teaching material, computer services, meals, orientation, simulation games; but exclusive of the expense for overseas business trip, and the expense for three-month foundation course.
Program Fee consists of Tuition fee and Capitation fee and must be paid to the University prior to the beginning of each semester. The tuition fee for Regular semester is 23,000 Baht for Thai students and 80,000 Baht for non-Thai students, while, Summer semester costs 7,750 baht and 45,750 baht respectively. The Capitation fee for Regular semester is 85,000 Baht for both Thai and non-Thai students, while, Capitation fee for Summer semester is 42,500 baht.
8. Where do the instructors come from?
Most of the instructors are full Professors from top business schools all over the world. They come from various universities from Asia, Europe and America. The local professionals are especially selected to teach in their areas of expertise.
9. What is the different between MM and MBA?
The MM Program is specifically designed to provide advanced and in-depth learning in International Business areas while the MBA is broad, covering all the primary functions of business.
